REGISTERING AS A GROUP LEADER

Group Registration will be available from 1st July 2024.

The Digital Church Office is conducting final checks to ensure the robustness of the Group Registration feature.

Forming a group

As a group leader forming the group, you are able to add up to 5 more members.

Step 1: Read the terms and click the blue ‘Proceed’ box

As a group leader, you must acknowledge the following:

  1. You will not be allowed to join other groups. If you wish to join another group, you will first need to leave your current group. You must appoint another person as the leader before you leave your group.
  2. A successful group ballot means all group members will each get tickets and be seated together at the Mass. If the ballot is unsuccessful, none of the group members will get tickets.
  3. It is the responsibility of the group leader to obtain and verify that your group members’ myCatholicSG account email addresses are correct. The booking system will not be able to verify the email accounts you have entered are valid.
  4. For privacy, there will be no indication if the email addresses you entered are already listed in our database.

Indicate that you understand and agree to the terms by ticking the checkbox, then click blue ‘Proceed’ box.

Step 2: Add the members to your group

You may add up to five more members to your group.

The minimum number to form a group is two persons (including the group leader).

The maximum number to form a group is six persons (including the group leader).

For privacy reasons, this system will not tell you whether the email addresses you have entered are valid myCatholicSG accounts or not.

As the group leader, you must ensure you enter the myCatholicSG email addresses correctly.

To remove any email addresses you had entered, click the X icon next to their email address.

Step 3: Click ‘Create Group’ to form your group

After you have entered your members’ email addresses, invitations will be sent to these emails.

You should now ask your invitees to log in to their myCatholicSG accounts to accept your invitation. As the group leader, you will be able to see who has accepted or declined your invitation, and who has yet to respond.

Once your members have joined your group, you cannot remove them. However they may leave your group if they choose to.

If you, as the group leader, wish to join another group, you will first need to leave your current group.

Before you leave your group, you must appoint another member as its leader.

Even if no one accepts your invitation to join your group, you are still registered to ballot for a single seat as an individual.
