Anointing of the Sick

Baptized Catholics who are in danger of death because of illness or old age, may request for the sacrament.

Those who are going for MAJOR surgery should make the Sacrament of Reconciliation and ask the priest for the Sacrament of the Sick before being admitted to the hospital.
